# Code Branch

## What is a Code Branch?

**Code branch** is maintaining the version of an Product on which you are going to automate. Preferably it is recommended to use Product release version.

## Example for Code Branch

As a company can launch or update present product, every time a new version is released the new version is tested individually. You can see below each version of the product is tested individually and then proceed to next stage. In code Branch you can add many versions of a single product.
