# Code Branch

**Code branch** is a repository where we are maintaining all the test data, workflows, elements, etc. Code branch is nothing but maintaining the version of an application.

**Example:** As a company can launch or update present product, every time a new version is released the new version is tested individually. You can see below each version of the product is tested individually and then proceed to next stage. In code Branch you can add many versions of a single product.
